ELM Electronics is a small Canadian business. We ship all over the world from our location near the city of Toronto, with sales by web only, and no distributors. This helps to keep our costs down, so we can in turn keep our prices low.

About our Products
Our only products are integrated circuits or 'chips', and we do not offer any other support components or circuitry. We are often asked where to find components or circuit boards and to help with this, there are several links throughout this site to suppliers that we encourage you to consider for your projects.
To see how you might typically use one of our ICs, be sure to download the data sheet - every one provides at least one Example Application to help get you started.

Functionally, each of our ICs perform very differently, but physically they look very similar. The sizes that we currently offer are shown in the following photograph. The larger 'PDIP' size packages are by far the most common ones that we sell, but the small 'SOIC' surface mount packages continue to grow in popularity as many people begin to experiment with that technology.
