As a reminder, all of our ICs are available in either a Plastic dual inline package (suffix = 'P'), or in a small outline package for Surface Mount applications (suffix = 'SM'). The following picture may help to clarify the difference:
| Please Note: For security reasons, the InternetSecure system that processes our web orders does not allow us to
change pricing with quantities ordered. With fixed prices, our only way to effectively offer you a
discount for quantitity purchases is to ship 'bonus' quantities with the items purchased. Bonus quantities are calculated as follows: 0 to 9 identical devices - no bonus
For example, a purchase of 50 identical ICs will actually be shipped as 60 pcs (50 + 20%), while an
order of 100 of one type would be shipped 130 (30% bonus). Note that these are equivalent to 17%
and 23% discounts. The minimum order (at one time - not cumulative ie. throughout the year) is 10
identical units in order to get any discount. These bonus quantities will not appear on your InternetSecure receipt - we will add them here at Elm
Electronics when preparing your order. The prices shown on the Invoice that we prepare will show the
new quantities and the lower, discounted pricing. We apologize for this inconvenience. |
