We are an InternetSecure Certified Merchant, and must adhere to their strict standards in order to use their services, and display this logo. Through the use of special software and connections to banking institutions, InternetSecure is able to process your order in complete privacy. No credit card information is stored in any system at either Elm Electronics or InternetSecure.
Upon successful completion of your transaction, two
identical emails will be generated by InternetSecure showing your purchase - one to you so
you have a record of your order, and one to us, so we know what to send you. You will also
be shown a receipt screen that summarizes your purchase (which you may also wish to print).
Pricing
Our prices are shown in Canadian dollars, but they will be converted to your currency on your credit card statement. To give you an idea of approximately what your bill will be, visit The Universal Currency Converter web site.
Quantity Discounts
We do not offer reduced per-unit prices, but instead ship 'bonus' quantities if you are buying 10 or more identical items. Click here for more details.
Payment
We do not accept cheques, money orders, money transfers, or PayPal. All payments must be made over the Internet using a credit card. We currently accept:
Shipping
A charge of CAD$8.00 is automatically added to every order to cover the costs of shipping and handling. It does not matter where you live in the world, or the total cost of your order - the amount is always the same.
All orders are shipped by Air Mail from Canada, and often take only one or two weeks to get to the destination (depending on local holidays, and any delays at your Customs office).
We do not offer any express or courier shipping options.
Duties and Fees
Several people have asked about the payment of Customs duties and clearance fees when their package arrives. We have no way of knowing the requirements in your country - this is your responsibility!
Distributors
We have no retailers or distributors at this time. ELM Electronics is web-based, and therefore all orders must be made over the Internet.
